I mainly play video games such as Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Fortnite, GTA and many others. Also, I edit and render a lot via after effects or sony vegas. Furthermore, I sometimes record my screen and livestream here and there. I'm not sure what I should upgrade first to get better results for the price. What should I upgrade first? My budget would be under $600. Thanks! <3

CPU: i5-6500 3.2GHz
MB: Intel H110
RAM: 8GB DDR4 2133MHz
GPU: GTX 960 4GB

Solution
For recording/streaming, I would start with a new platform. The extra cores/threads will be beneficial in that regard. If your power supply is of adequate quality, and wattage, you could actually do both a CPU and GPU upgrade, like this.

Motherboard: Gigabyte - B450 AORUS M Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($77.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: ADATA - XPG GAMMIX D10 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($104.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: MSI - Radeon RX 580 8 GB ARMOR OC Video Card ($209.99 @ Amazon)

You don't mention what resolution and refresh rate but I'd suggest a graphics card upgrade might be the best place to start, and is an upgrade you can transfer over to a new machine later if you upgrade the rest. The 960 is a pretty good card for it's age but is probably the weakest link.

I'd also suggest upgrading to 16GB of RAM except I don't think it's really worth buying more RAM for an older platform because you won't want to use it on newer hardware.

As for anything else, you would really have to go for a motherbaord, CPU, and RAM all at once to make it worthwhile. Something like a Ryzen 5 2600 & 16GB of DDR4 3200 or a i5 8400 and 16GB of DDR4 2666 would be the best budget options.
