[SOLVED] Best cpu and motherboard

Hello guys,
Am kinda confused with the config of my new pc,
So ya i got an gtx 1060 6gb gaming edition with 16gb ddr3 ram at good price.
But now am not able to find a good cpu with motherboard which can handle the 1060 at its maximum power with ddr3 ram...

DDR3 is technically obsolete, no motherboards or CPUs in production today use it. You are looking to buy old stock or secondhand items.

The old AMD platforms are not worth considering, just too weak. The older 4th or 5th generation Intels are holding up much better. If I had to go this route I would only consider i7’s like the 4770/4790/4770k/4790k.

However I think the best move is sell your DDR3 and invest in a modern platform that at least has an upgrade path.

What do you currently have to work with? Meaning outside of the ram and GPU, what are the specs to your current system? List them like so:

What sort of a budget have you set aside for your system's purchase and to add, what is your location?
