Hi,

I ordered SSD cady for my laptop I put my SSD inside it and started to fasten the screw until it vanished inside the SSD, should I tear it down and get the screw out or it's ok to work with the screw inside.

Please help!

I know it's stupid lol, the screw head have the same size as the screw itself I was watching a video while fastening it, the problem is I don't have Torx security screwdriver.

It's impossible for a screw to get inside an SSD drive. Do you mean it is inside the cady? Never seen an SSD drive with a hole in it, much less one large enough to fit a screw in. Or did it get stuck where the ports are?

Sorry for being so late but let me tell you that really happened the screw head has the same width as the screw itself and it vanished inside the SSD, here is a link to the same SSD cady.

I couldn't find the screwdriver here, and I solved it with Thread and Stitch and I locked up the screw in the lower side of the SSD so it can't touch the SSD chip inside the case itself.
