Please Help Me Overclock i5 8600k Using Asrock z370 Pro 4!!
I have recently built a new computer, an upgrade from last pc build and I bought all new parts except for Ram, SSD, and HDD.
The main purpose of this thread is I need help with overclocking my CPU (Intel i5 8600K Using Motherboard z370 Pro4 ) I have never overclocked a CPU but I have a general idea of how things might work.
**Would overclocking the i5 8600K using z370 Pro be the exact same as overclocking it with a z370 Extreme4?**
**Are there any programs I need to download when attempting to overclock CPU?**
**How do I go about overclocking it safely and are there any tutorials that relate my CPU & motherboard.**
I am also wondering if I got all the correct drivers and what drivers I need or what drivers are bloatware that I can uninstall. Also, what else can I do to get the most out of my computer? Settings, drivers, and programs?
Here is my build:

1.) I completely wiped my SSD and for my HD I deleted all drivers and anything that may be in conflict with new pc. (Or atleast I think I did)
2.) I did a fresh install of windows 10 pro and bought a new cd key from G2DEALS with no problem.
3.) I downloaded the motherboard drivers onto a flash drive from another PC with internet and transfered it over to my pc and downloaded it only my new pc which gave me the LAN driver which gave me internet to install remaining drivers including, Graphics Card Driver and intel i5 8600k graphics driver.
4.) I did a windows update which updated me to april update I believe which gave me windows defender, keyboard, mouse drivers, and realtek audio drivers. (I think) I am missing the realtek audio manager on desktop.
5.) I downloaded CCleaner & Malwarebyte & Cpuid HW Monitor to keep an eye on temps, etc.
6.) I downloaded google chrome & ublock and disabled all the windows 10 apps running in the background and disabled almost all startup programs.
7.) I have downloaded Msi Afterburner & CpuID HW Monitor and have overclocked my graphics card by 150+ on both core clock and memory clock and set fan to 80%. I also maxed out power limit to 120 and temp limit to 92. My graphics card runs at 33 C when idling and stays below 75 C when stress testing for 20+ minutes.
