What to do to with migration leftovers

I'm using a Dell i5577 laptop with an 1TB HDD. I have just add a new M.2 SSD with 500GB capacity to it and I have migrated all that in my C partition migrated into the SSD and boot from the SSD.
Now after that, the system has left an identical partition of the C disk on my original HDD with the letter I.
My question is:
1. Can I delete the stuff in the now labeled I disk?
2. If I can, then should I just delete them or should I directly format the whole partition. which option is safer?
Thank you very much for your help!
Vincent

PS: There are about 200MB or so space left on the SSD, should I set another partition for that or merge it into the original drive?

You absolutely need to verify the system boots up from the new drive all by itself.
Power off, disconnect the old drive, and boot up. Does it work?

Assuming it does, then you wipe ALL partitions on the old drive. Disk Management, and DELETE all of them.

"200MB"?
Please show us a screencap of your current Disk Management window. For that small a space, I'd just leave it.

Thanks for the reply.
Is it really necessary to wipe out EVERYTHING on the original drive? Or can I just format the original C partition?
There are a lot of stuff on the other partitions of the old HDD, and it would be such a pain in the ass for me to move them.
Thanks

Well, that's why a screencap of your situation is helpful to us out here.
Right now, you're the only one who knows how it is set up.

If you just format what used to be the "C partition", you leave behind the original boot partitions. Just makes thing messy and confusing.

Screenshot

The first row is the new SSD, marked as disk 0.
The second row is the old HDD, with three partitions.

The names of the partitions are pretty self-explanatory, the partitioning are not that perfect.

The original C partition on HDD, now labelled with letter H, was 211GB, I cloned the whole C partition on to the SSD, and the SSD is 500GB, that's why for the 200MB question, it should be '200GB or so', sorry for that. Right now I have already merged that 200GB into the new C disk.

Currently I'm booting from the SSD with no problem. Booting with only HDD tested, no problem on that either.
Bottom two rows are my portable SSDs, not related.
