Hello everyone, had a question I'm running an Alienware x51 r2 with the AMD Radeon R9 270x. Not sure if this is the right place to post this, not sure if it even is motherboard related. I turn on the PC and after everything loads to my window screen, two minutes pass and everything freezes, can't move mouse , keyboard doesn't operate. All the the rgb on the peripherals stay on but if I unplug them and put them into different USB ports they don't come back on. The screen is frozen as the task manager performance bars are not moving. I shut off the PC manually and reboot it. Everything works till the two minutes pass and it freezes up again. Went into the BIOS and same thing froze up.
Two nights ago it was shutting down and trying to turn back on and went thru that cycle a few times until it started right up.(on it's own)
I was also thinking maybe power supply but this has external unit but not sure how to test it.
Any suggestions?

Did this just recently start? Mine just started doing this same thing. I have to restart my pc. I ran the disk and scannow and everything is fine. I just upgraded to 16 GB of new RAM. So far the only thing I've noticed is that Windows updates yesterday. It is weird. My isn't freezing as bad but it has frozen ~4 times already and at random times. Mouse, keyboard, etc freeze.

Yes just recently started I don't get enough time to check anything, a Java update was taking place today and all I heard were the fans go at Max speed and it shut down, then it starts trying to boot back up but it just stay in a cycle were it goes on and off until I unplug it.
