Hello guys,

I am thinking of building my first 1080p gaming PC very soon (most likely for Christmas). I have a budget of 930$ and I am willing to push it to 950$ maximum. I live in Bulgaria, so this is around 1600 lv. / 1630 lv maximum. I really need help as I've been trying to find the perfect parts for 2 months. I think I will be going with the Ryzen 5 2600 and 2x4GB of RAM running on dual channel. I am totally confused after a lot of researching about the other components. I am really nervous about the PSU and the cooling of the PC specifically. I also do not know if I could fit a 1060 6GB in this budget, or should I go for the 3GB Dual, or even maybe MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor OC. The site that I am building my PC on is https://ardes.bg/configurator. Oh, I also forgot to mention that I've never built a PC (like putting all the components together) in my life, so I might go with the PC company Ardes building it for me which costs about 29,50$. Any help is much appreciated!

Thank you very much for taking your time to answer! I've taken under consideration your suggestions as they seem really fitting to my budget and needs. I would be really thankful if you would be able to leave your feedback on the following build I've also been considering:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4GHz) - 215$
Cooler: Gelid Solutions Siberian Pro - 12$
Motherboard: ASRock B450M Pro4 - 103$
RAM: 2x4GB DDR4 3000 Team Group T-Force Vulcan - 88$
HDD: 2TB WD Blue WD20EZRZ - 76$
GPU: MSI Radeon RX 580 8GB Armor OC - 279$
Case: COUGAR MX310 Black - 46$
PSU: 550W Seasonic Focus+ 550 Gold - 103$
Building the PC - 28$

Thank you very much again for taking your time. :)

The system looks pretty good. The only reservation I would have is the lack of an SSD. Running a 2TB 5400rpm drive as boot would be a slowish system for my taste, but each to their own.

Perhaps consider a 250GB or 500GB SSD such as:

https://ardes.bg/product/250gb-ssd-crucial-mx500-ct250mx500ssd1-106916

or

https://ardes.bg/product/500gb-ssd-crucial-mx500-ct500mx500ssd1-108811

Add a 1TB HDD (ideally 7200rpm) to a 500GB SSD would be a sweeter setup, unless you really want everything on one drive.

Hey,

Thank you so much for the advice! Sorry for the delayed response but work has been really stressful for the last week and a half. I went ahead and added a 120GB SSD by Kingston A400 (Will be used for OS and boot). I spoke a with a tech support guy from the company I will be buying my build from (Ardes.BG) and he said I would be better off with the ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4 - B450 GAMING K4 motherboard (40$ more than the previous one) as the one I had chosen would need a BIOS upgrade and the CPU probably would not start the first time. It's a little bit over my tight budget but if that's really the case I am willing to spend a bit more on this motherboard. I've also added the Deepcool XFan 120 which costs about 6$. I think of ordering the build tomorrow or most likely Wednesday as I will be working weekend shifts this weekend and the tech guy said it will take up to 3 days to be at my doorstep. It sucks, yeah!
