Hi, I am using an Antec EarthWatts EA550G, connected to a MSI B450 gaming pro carbon ac motherboard.
I have just installed a Ryzen 5 1600 processor and the Amd stock cooler that comes with it.Also installed 8GB corsair LPX ram along with a 240GB SSD (no OS installed yet).
I have tested the PSu using the paperclip and it works fine. However when I connected it to the motherboard nothing happens. The psu fan or the CPU fan doesnt turn on.
I tried with connecting all the components to PSU, connecting only the CPU pin and Mobo pin of PSu and just the Mobo pin to psu, but neither scenario yeilded any results.
Is the Mobo dead? Or am I missing something?
Edit: After removing and reattaching all connections, I can see that a single red led right next to the bios flashback blink 3 times and then nothing.
Can someone please advise on what is wrong?
