Hello, since Christmas is coming i wanted to upgrade my computer. This is my specs right now.

GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card
Intel Core i3-4130
8gb ram
Motherboard: Asus H87 Pro

Before i used to have the Intel Pentium G3220 but i get even more worse fps with the new Intel Core i3-4130m, Is my pc bottlenecking? and What should i upgrade first to get more fps in games?
This is a desktop not a laptop.

Solution

Looks like the FPS you are getting are average for your specs:

The only thing I would try would be to disable v-sync in the game graphics settings and see if...

Normally the GPU will always give you the most out of gaming performance and a CPU will diminish that gain proportionate to how bad it is. There are also other factors you should consider, what is your PSU and how many PCI-E cables and pins does it provide you. Better cards require more pins or even cables.

In your case, if that's your CPU, it's pretty bad. 2500 Mhz and a dual core, is at the limit of running games like Diablo 3.

If you can get a cheap 780 or 970 go for it. Otherwise maybe look for a bigger investment and change your CPU motherboard and PSU to start with.

Strange I don't see your CPU on this motherboards support list... Are you sure your CPU is i3-3120m?

MERGED QUESTION
Question from gamertanish : "Upgrade CPU or GPU? (Is my pc bottlenecking?)"

What "bottlenecking" is caused by is the slowest part of your PC. So lets say you get that 1050Ti. Since your CPU is on the low end you most likely will not see any FPS increase. If you do it would only be a few FPS. This is because the CPU can no longer keep up with the GPU. You will also run into the same problem if you upgrade the CPU and not the GPU.

Your i3 CPU should be a better than the Pentium G3220 you use to have....

I'm running a Phenom II 940 CPU with at GTX 770 video card and can play most AAA games well enough at 1080p with lower settings... I guess the question is what FPS are you getting in what game/setting?

Well, I only play fortnite and on low graphics I get around 50-60 fps but sometimes it goes to 70 fps. The thing is on my screen it doesn't really look like 60fps, even though it shows 60 fps in the corner it looks like it's 30fps for me and I sometimes experience stuttering and input lag :/

Looks like the FPS you are getting are average for your specs:

The only thing I would try would be to disable v-sync in the game graphics settings and see if that helps. Also if you on a wireless connection try connecting by wire... Lag can be caused by a great many things including network speed and this is a multiplayer game.

Upgrading just one component (i5 or R580) will give your about 20 FPS increase... However if you upgrade both you'll at least double your FPS at the same settings going to and i5 and a R580 GPU at 1080p.
