Question about my CPU temps

Hello, so I started using this cpu miner on my laptop and I realized it keeps my Intel core i7 pinned at 100% and has my fans running what seems to be like at 100%. So I was wondering if doing this for a prolonged time will have any negative effects on my laptop. My temps can range from around 170 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. When it comes to temps I dont know what is good or bad.

Solution
High temps for prolonged use can damage your hardware. Especially with a laptop because laptops are not designed for great cooling in their small form factor. You are running at 80C, which is not dangerous for a CPU. But in a laptop running 24/7 may cause issues with other hardware near by.

But in the end, mining in not even close to profitable, especially CPU mining. You are losing more in electricity than you are making in mining. So it is not a good idea.
