[SOLVED] Is Asrock z370 pro4 compatible with 9th gen?

I bought a Z370 Pro4 'cuz I wanted an i7 8770k, buuuut, now I want an i7 9700k; my motherboard has bios 3.10 (and in the website says that with that bios update came the 8c processors
compatibility) but I'm not sure if 3.10 is enough or if I need to update it to 3.20

You can always try to update to the newest one. but notice that the motherboard might throtle the power if the VRMs cannot sustain the high load on the CPU. I would say get a better motherboard.

I suggest updating to 3.20. It's easy to do and they have officially said that it is compatible with 9th gen. I have an i5 9600k on that board and it functions.
