Ok I've installed a new matx watercooled loop and I'm having trouble getting the pc to power on.

I've deducted the system is shorting as I turn the power on I get a flash of light from my fan controllers and then nothing no cpu ram VGA led lights turn on, no beeps. My ram RGB lights also go on and oddly rest mode Usb charging works

My mobo didn't come with plastic spacers so I just thought maybe new Motherboards don't need them or did they just forget to include it in my motherboard? There is no info on this in my manual. (gigabyte Z270MX)
Included below is photo of mobo mount now is this shorting my motherboard or do new mobo not need spacers?

Not my first time Building pcs, I'm certain something is shorting just trying to get some answers before I tear everything down and troubleshoot each step and use another weekend of my time. Last pic for the fap bank.

those are the grounding points for the devices on the motherboard. the points ground through the screw, to the case and out the PSU into ground. perfectly normal and fine.

check the manual the motherboard may not be detecting a CPU fan and is halting POST to save the CPU from heat death. the cooler should be connected to the white CPU fan connector if this is the case

I think maybe my watercooled CPU backplate behind the mobo is causing a short i will remove it and see if this fixes anything.

Still no beeps or diagnostic lights I just get a quick 1ms flash from other LEDs then nothing , I think mobo is shorting.
