This is my build so far and i'm looking to overclock it, I've purchased everything except for the gpu
and i'm looking for what the best case is that I can get for $150. (note: I don't care about looks at all just performance, and also should I get a case and then get a bunch of fans for it or just get an expensive case?)

Solution
Here are a couple of suggestions.

The Fractal Design Meshify C is a fantastic high Airflow case that is built well and will do more than a good job:

My personal case is the Cooler Master H500P MEsh, again another high airflow case but with 2 large 200MM Fans bringing air in through a mesh front. Easy to build in with a lot of speace and looks good but that is subjective..

Solution
Gamers Nexus do the most thorough review of PC cases ive come across, watch this video which covers the years best cases here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2RkwBXaYQA&t=0s

I myself picked up the Meshify C in white with the green mesh this week, looks fantastic and has some great features. Their Website http://www.fractal-design.com/

That is a nice case, especially the front cover...I went the other way and could not help myself get sucked into RGB, yes it is dangerouse and contrary to popular belief has not added any extra performance to my rig....But the H500P Mesh does a great job on the cooling front..
