Hi, I'm going to upgrade my graphics card but can't find out if its compatible with my motherboard, I imagine it will be but i'd rather check first as i'm a novice really. The motherboard is called naples I think and came in an OMEN by HP 880-000na desktop pc. This is the link to the pc spec page on hp

https://support.hp.com/gb-en/document/c05563293

Here is a link to the graphics card

Any advice appreciated, its a lot of money to spend on a guess

Solution
you can go into BIOS and check and see if any of the settings mention UEFI. usually if it has a UEFI type bios there will be an option that allows you to boot to UEFI or legacy BIOS

what OS did it originally come with?

Ah right,do you know if theres anyway I can check its age or if the bios will match? I've had the pc from new since june but I imagine it wasn't the release date of it. I tried to check on pc part picker but the motherboard doesn't come up and the only name I can see for it is naples
