Im using the nzxt h500i with a ryzen 2600 on stock cooler but my system is running high on temp. Should I buy a liquid cooler or 2 more fans ( at the time in using 1 fan on front and 1 at the back)

Solution
Your H500I is a fine case.
Any cooler, air or liquid needs a good source of cooling airflow.

Your case has the capability of using two front 140mm intakes.
They will provide all the cooling you need.
In addition, of all the intake is from one source and is filtered, your parts will stay cleaner.

Usually, the ryzen stock cooler works well.
I would first install two 140mm fans and see how you do.
140mm pushes more air at lower rpm than 120mm, and will be quieter while doing it.

You have 165mm available for even the best of tower type air coolers, but I suspect they would be overkill.

AIO coolers give you a mounting dilemma.
Mounting the radiator to draw in outside air cools your cpu better, but at the expense of giving the graphics...

Yes I have proper intake and exhaust flow

AIO coolers give you a mounting dilemma.
Mounting the radiator to draw in outside air cools your cpu better, but at the expense of giving the graphics card and motherboard hotter air to work with.

Mounting the radiator to expel hot air(which I think is better) cools your graphics card better but hurts cpu cooling.

I've read that AIO isn't required for gaming as it only cools about 5-10 degrees more than fans. Is this correct or incorrect? I feel that AIO is more of a to each of his or her own type cooling.

Before purchasing a liquid cooler as well, read the warranties because if there is a defect and it damages other components...certain companies may not pay for the damages, only the AIO. I've read on DEEPCOOLER (AN AIO vendor) warranties cover damages done to other components if its faulty and water compromises part function.

What is required for gaming is a strong graphics card and a good cpu with sufficient cores(4 or more) and a good single thread clock rate. Your cpu is fine but I do not know your graphics card.

Ryzen will oc to perhaps 4.1 and the limit has more to do with the particular chip sample quality than it does with heat.

If you think you need more than a stock cooler, noctua makes some of the quietest and best performing around.

Can you post a picture of your cpu fan and how its positioned? or describe that.
Also, you said you only have two fans at the moment and a CPU fan, to make it three. Correct?

So, what I would do first if you haven't done this already:
1. Can you post a picture of your cpu fan and how its positioned? or describe that.
2. Replace thermal paste with aftermarket paste, I've read numerous articles and complaints about stock paste being trash.
3. Liquid cooling would be essential in your case, if you can purchase additional fans too for airflow quality.

4. In your case, you need more airflow currently. AMD processors burn HOT in comparison to Intel.

I am running a FX-9590 and 7 fans and my CPU runs up to 72 degrees. I am going to be switching probably to a DEEPCOOL liquid cooler, due to their amazing warranty, for my Ryzen 2700x.

It's the stock cpu fan for the ryzen 2600 it's facing the side panel and it's circular. Counting the cpu fan there are 3 fans. I was going to buy the cooler master m120r, can you suggest any other liquid cooler?

Sure, just make sure the coolers fit before buying them. Match the specs and stuff.
I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH THOUGH, READ THEIR WARRANTIES BEFORE DECIDING. BE SAFE, NOT SORRY.

Corsair makes pretty decent liquid coolers.

Here are some, do some research and read reviews to narrow down what coolers you like or think are great. Go through these reviews of the coolers listed. You can purchase one of each and they all may be defective. Just remember that.
