What kind of upgrades should I get for my computer

Right now I have a Dell Inspiron 3656 and the only upgrade I have in it is a GTX 1080ti. I think getting a GTX 1080ti wasn't the best idea for what I have, because even though there is a noticeable difference, I still get bad frame drops while I'm in a gunfight or something. Does anyone have any suggestions? (not too expensive please :))

Nope. You're looking at a full core system upgrade (CPU/Motherboard/RAM), I'm afraid. It looks like you have some type of hybrid motherboard that accepts laptop processors (AMD A10-8700P), but also has expansion slots like a regular desktop motherboard. Upgrading the processor isn't really an option as you already have one of the best for that motherboard. You'd need to replace the motherboard as well as the processor and if you're going with the latest, new memory as well.

If you want to try going used components, look for a used 4th Generation Intel Core I7-series processor and a suitable Micro-ATX form-factor motherboard. Socket 1150 and a Z97/H97 chipset. With this you should be able to reuse your current RAM.

You could try upgrading the ram to 16 gb (if it'll take it), if you're playing games that go over the 8 gb mark (some do) then moving to 16 gb can help a LOT.

Otherwise, I agree with the previous poster, time for a fresh build...but look on the bright side, you already have the video card.
