I think I need to replace my motherboard. The bloke down the shop says that I won't get a new board with a 1156 socket, so unless I get one secondhand, my i7 870 processor will be useless.
Is he right? Is there no fix?
(I read someting about using other type of socket, but forfeiting the use of the onboard graphics which I didn't really understand. I have been using a GTX750Ti GPU.)
