Hi, want to build pc for my little brother, so looking for help in terms of compatibility, bottlenecking and price efficiency.

Optimally, he would like to have GTX 1060 (3gb), CPU, Motherboard, RAM would also need a replacement.

Would be great not to go over around 550 euros (630$ USD) for all 4 parts together.

The build I'm considering:

==================

Videocard: GTX 1060 3gb - 200€ (230$ USD)

CPU Intel i7400 - 210€ (240$ USD)

MB: Gigabyte GA-H110-D3A - 62€ (70$ USD)

RAM: (x2)Kingston HyperX FURY 4GB 2133MHz DDR4 CL14 DIMM 1.2V - 66€ (75$ USD)

- 540€ (615$ USD)

==================

Would like to know whether this motherboard really supports i7400 (pcpartpicker.com says it does), and whether there would be much bottlenecking going on from the i7400 against the gtx 1060. Also, he has, I think, some basic 450w or 500w psu, which I guess should be fine, but could there be some connectors needed for the GTX that he wouldn't have on a casual psu?

He mostly would be playing CS:GO, League of Legends, Fortnite (-_-), GTA V.

Thanks a lot.

I would recommend against that build. Old platform, with no upgrade path. You do not want to skimp on the power supply, quality wise. Basic is a bad idea. You have enough budget to get Ryzen 5, board, ram, and a GTX 1060 6gb. A 2600 would be better yet, but would take you a little over the 550. If you need to scale things back a bit more, to make room in budget, for the PSU, the Ryzen 5 1400 is a decent option, as well.
