Hi, So i was just wondering, I am able to unlocked 2 extra cores on my cpu, Yes it is stable and has a slight overclock, But i was just wondering. If i locked those cores again and just used 4 cores, and tried to get a wicked high cpu overclock would that be better? I cant seem to get a very stable or high overclock with the 6 cores. So would it be better for me to overclock just 4 cores? or should i keep the 2 extra cores and try my luck at that? Thanks!

Solution
Try going 6 cores and see how far you can get Stable that will depend heavily on your silicon lottery, VRM's and the cooling options you have. If things are unstable then drop it back to 4 Cores and push the overclock. It's hard to predict what you will get with those Phenoms, they rebranded for various reasons.
