[SOLVED] Will i need to update bios.

I have an i5 8400 processor and a GIGABYTE H310M S2P do i have to update bios. I dont know how to and if what i heard is true i dont want to buy another processor

You don't need to update BIOS to run this CPU.
It was supported since BIOS version F1.

I note that the latest BIOS for this motherboard is F11. You only need to upgrade if the new BIOS fixes security issues or bugs that affect you.
You can look on the Gigabyte website to see what has changed.

I would recommend an upgrade to at least version F3.

Download the BIOS and follow the instructions.

Ill ofcourse upgrade to bios f11 can u just do that from tje bios it self
