[SOLVED] Windows Update upon Shutdown. Now: PC won't Post

Last night, I shut down my PC and it started an automatic Windows Update (windows 7). After about 20 minutes, I realized the monitors are all black but the PC is still on -- the CPU_led light is stuck on red.

I held the power switch to reset. It went into BIOS and stated: Overclocked failed!

I reset again. Same message. I reset again. Then, it wouldn't go into BIOS -- monitors show nothing.

Now:

Still can't enter BIOS.

I can only turn on PC by switching on/off PSU. When I hold the power button to reset, DRAM_led blinks red, VGA_led blinks red, and then ends up stuck on CPU_led red.

Power is going to fan controller, fans, and water pump. No power going to USB 2.0 peripherals (plugged in through the mobo).

It's weird because there have been nearly no issues since I built this in 2011. Wondering what that update could have done to my PC...

Build:
i5-2500k
ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3
16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3
Corsair HX650
EVGA GTX570
Crucial 128GB SSD
Hitachi 500GB HDD
Windows 7

Would appreciate any help here on troubleshooting. Maybe there's something very simple that I'm missing.

Thanks

I had the same thing happen after waking up from standby on my i7-2600k a year ago. I replaced the motherboard and the issue persisted until I RMA'd my processor to Intel. It was actually a bad processor - something that hasn't happened to me in 20 years in IT.
