So been a long time since ive engaged on this forum, mainy because everything has been going smoothly however i just got finished building this https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jDDCkd and it doesnt post/display anything now im aways ryzen doesnt have built in graphics so i currenty have an ancient saphire 1900xt (tested and is working) in there untill the 1070 turns up, so i did all the usual tests and then got in contact with asus asuming its likely a motherboard issue and after a while they determined that although the corsair vengence pro rgb ram is working, its not compatible with the motherboard. so now i have to wait for some ram that they recomended to turn up from amazon for testing purposes but i wondered if this was a common issue as ive not encountered it before.
also if anyone else has any suggestions feel free to mention them.

Sorry, I have a problem with that. If the white (VGA) stays on then it's an issue with the VGA ... or the information from ASUS's POST status lights is worthless. You sure the vid card is going all the way into the slot? I have had cases with a slight bend in them that caused the last couple contacts on the vid card to stick out. Also, the 1900xt has the extra power plug ... we sure the plug is all the way into the card and into your fully modular (and super nice) PSU?
Your board has 2 sets of indicator LEDs. The power LED is down near the PCIe slot and should be illuminated. If not, you don't have power. When you hit the power button, the status indicators should light up and go out in sequence. They are all the way at the other end of the board, near the main power connector. If any of these indicators illuminate and stay illuminated, then that component has failed the POST (power on self test).

About the RAM. Yes, Ryzen is fussy about compatible RAM, but that does not normal prevent the machine from booting up. In my experience, incompatible RAM will cause crashes and blue screens.

Yes im aware of them i went through them with asus and it cycles through and then goes white and stays white, however the gpu although ancient does work as i have it running in another system here, and asus were certain this was not the issue and that it was the ram, shame really as the rgb ram looks sweet. but maybe ill get another gpu and test it before returning the ram. and i do have a set of ram on the way from amazon now that asus gave me as a recomended and compatable with the mobo so ill hold off on returning it for now i think. need to get it sorted asap though as this build is for a disabled child/adult for christmas.

Yes its fully in and i will try re-sitting the gpu again, yeah the psu is nice its really short too, got a really nice deal on it and since psu's in general are most effiecient at just under/around half usage i think it will work out really well.
