Hello all

My motherboard (Gigabyte B450 I AORUS WIFI) cannot detect my SSD, i have installed the Samsung EVO 970 in the M.2 slot. But i cannot find it in the bios/boot menu or when i try the windows 10 installation.

It is a new system, and i have only the samsung SSD installed. I tried looking in bios for a menu to enable the m.2 slot - but without luck. I don't know what to do atm, so any advice would be appreciated.

Hi, Sorry, my bad. You're right. I suggest then returning the drive for replacement, if under warranty. When installing it, make sure that you're fastening the screw to the motherboard, not to the heatsink (check the board's manual).
