I’m upgrading my cpu and I have the dell xps 435t motherboard, I’m looking into the intel Xeon X5687 and wanted to know if these would work together, so far my research says it’s good and would work. It’s a really good cpu from what I can see and was thinking of getting it.

I see X5690 running in that here.

The 4C/8T X5687 should be a nice choice. Update the BIOS first. I see most of them running older CPUs, early LGA1366 can have CPU limits. Sometimes you need to boot an old Nehalem CPU to load the BIOS update.
