Everytime I try to initialize my 1tb hhd to gpt it will say "The specific disk is not convertible because the size is less than the minimum size required for GPT disks."
Any suggestions?

Solution
Whcih HDD do you have? Have you run a health check on it?
Each drive manufacturer has some kind of health check tool available on their website (SeaTools for SeaGate, DataLifeguard for WD I believe)...

I honestly don't understood what you said. I'm kinda new with this. How do I exactly do that?

1. Search for "command prompt" or "cmd" from your start menu.
2. Right click & select 'run as administrator'
3. Type DISKPART (hit enter)
4. Type LIST DISK (hit enter)
5. Type SELECT DISK # (hit enter - where # = the corresponding number of the driver you see when you run "list disk").
6. Type CLEAN (hit enter)

After cleaning I tried initializing it again and it still said

"The specific disk is not convertible because the size is less than the minimum size required for GPT disks."
