i have windows 10, and use a Rode NT-USB microphone, the level of volume is set to 80 on windows. However, when i record myself using a program like Bandicam or Action. the mic sounds very quiet when i speak with a normal voice, but sounds OK when i speak very loud.
however, if i up the volume to 90 for instance, the normal voice is fine, but it cracks when i speak very loud.
Is this a microphone quality problem? ( i think i have a pretty good mic tho? ) or some sort off windows / software related problem? is there a way to fix this?
