I need to upgrade my Computer with my 400$ Budget, i dont want to go full tilt but get what i can get for the price above. Right now i have a:
AMD 4300 Quad Core
8GB Ram
GTX 1050TI
And a GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard
Once again i have a 400$ and i was thinking of getting the AMD 8350 with a 1060 6gb graphics card. shall i do this, if not what should i do.

Solution
Little over budget with 16gb ram.
The board has a $30 mail in rebate though bringing the price down more if you actually get the money back.

Its a very decent board too, better than the budget msi ones easily.

If you actually...
Save a little more and sell your current parts aside from the case and the drives and psu. Then do yourself a favor and get an i5-8400 or ryzen 2600 and a decent mobo and your gtx 1060. It will give you great cpu power for the future. Do not invest any money in an fx system.

also very helpful but u dont recommend i upgrade my GPU?

no, it's still capable of playing games, long as you are willing to sacrifice a few detail settings to get 60 FPS. You definitely want to move to a modern platform first, only then worry about upgrading the GPU.

You will get the same advice from absolutely anyone on these forums that's worth listening to.

You have a low end old motherboard, sata 2, no USB 3, doesn't have the vrm setup to handle anything past a 6300 & isn't capable le of overclocking on.

A 6300 won't get you enough real world performance increase to warranty the spend or the time upgrading.

Get yourself on a new platform with modern specs, worry about the gpu afterwards.

The ryzen will be a world of difference, 50% more powerful on a single core, 3 X more powerful on multicore performance & will last you years.

As said you can always drop to medium settings on a 1050ti to maintain fps, a cpu limitation (which is what you have currently) can't really ever be counteracted.

With a $400 spend a base system u pgrade makes far more sense than your original idea

The board I listed is simply because I don't know if you have an atx or matx case, if its atx there are better choices for a few more dollars

Probably squeeze an ssd in there too.

Adding to what madmatt recommended,

This is worth going for much more than a GPU upgrade right now. A GTX 1060 won't be fully utilized by your current CPU anyway.

I looked into this realizing i did not announce that i am in Canada where everything seems to be a little more expensive.
I took the advice on the Ryzen 5 2600 (209$)
I was also looking at the B450M PRO VDH (108$)
1 TB is installed
and lastly is 8gb of ram for now good enough or is this not a option and i should save up and 100% go for the 16gb?

Is there no way you can get 16 GB? It's recommended to have 16 for a gaming system, but if you really can't manage it at all then 8 GB will have to do. Also, the 500 GB storage is SSD storage, which is much faster than a traditional hard drive. If you have a 1 TB SSD, well and good.

If you actually have the money in hand the ryzen is worth buying at that price NOW, it's heavily discounted till the 29th.

what i will have to do is save more for the 16gb, which is actually only my next paycheck considering the 16gb is only
about 100$.
to confirm everything, i should order the ryzen 5 2600
b450m pro m2
and then get the 16gb as soon as possible
will Hdd do for now as well?

Yes, an SSD is just an optional upgrade, although it really does speed up systems, but it's not really essential, you can add one later.
