Just bought a Ryzen 2700X and got 2x8GB DDR4 2666mhz ryzen compatible RAM. Just wondering if i should've gotten faster RAM or if this will be enough?

That memory will be fine, in spite of what others may say. Faster is better, when benchmarking, but in day to day use, you would see little (if any) difference between the 2666 memory you have and faster (say 3000 or 3200), maybe a few FPS difference. Don't sweat it and have fun.
