[SOLVED] Can't play FEAR

I just install "FEAR" (one of my favorites) on one of my PC's and I can't play it. When I double click the icon the display goes black, show some options and then nothing. The pc has an AMD 8350 @ 4.0 GHz; 32 GB of ram and a MSI Radeon 370 (no overclock or after burner). I don't understand what's going on. Any ideas?

The original didn't have this problem but the expansion does that if you have any tool that messes with the game output like msi afterburner or any other tool that shows FPS (or anything else)on screen.

Thanks for the reply. I have the original version and wasn't runnig no other apps. Maybe the cd is bad.

Looks like the game has something against my version of windows. I update to version 1809 and the problem disapears. Thks for your time, thou. :wahoo:
