[SOLVED] New to PC gaming do I need a mechanical keyboard? If so which one?

I purchase a custom built a rig for me (I5 3.2Ghz, Nvidea GTX 1060 3gig, 16 gig ram, 1 gig SSD) and I'm currently using a logitech wireless keyboard. I would like to upgrade to a mechanical board but honestly I don't why they're better. My budget is $30 to $40 and do I need a wired mouse?

I'm not a hardcore gamer, will be playing RTS's and a few FPS games like Squad.

Honestly me personally I'd pay 3* more for a non mechanical keyboard than a mechanical one, but I know I'm in the minority

As for the mouse the only downside to wireless is they're usually heavier (and yes some extremely.minor delay)

A mechanical keyboard is a comfort item. It isn't really necessary if you are not hardcore. In all rights, it is a matter of preference. Whether you like to hear the click of the mechanical keyboard or whether you like a membrane keyboard. Really, your choice.

A wireless mouse vs a wired mouse. A debate that will continue for years. Again, a matter of choice. In all reality, a wireless mouse won't be much different than a wired mouse, for you.
