[SOLVED] Upgrading from GTX 780 to 1070 what should I expect?

Happy New Year all!

Ok, so I managed to find a used Asus GTX 1070 ROG Strix only OCed once and never used for mining for 300.00 which was my ceiling. I am coming from a GTX 780, what kind of performance or things can I expect or will notice?

Your 4670 is definitely going to limit FPS at 1080p and probably would a bit at 1440p. Upgrading to 16gb may remove some stuttering in some newer games but won’t make a big difference. Upgrading to a 4790k or newer platform would be better for keeping up with the 1070.
