Hello friends I need some suggestion. But before I start first check my PC specs below so that you could help me out properly:

core i5 6600
8 GB Ram
ASUS Radeon R9 380x 4 GB gpu
ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard
Cooler Master B-600 Version 2 Power Supply (600 Watts)

So now coming to my question. I want to change my graphics card. And I'm planning to buy the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 2060 when it will be launch in the coming months. So will this graphics card be compatible with my PC specs? Because my Motherboard has GDDR4 slot for GPU while the upcoming NVIDIA RTX 2060 is GDDR6. So shall I wait for this upcoming graphics card or should I purchase NVIDIA GTX 1060. Please do reply.

The RTX2060 is much faster than the gtx1060, as it is comparable to a GTX1070ti according to the leaks.
Your system can handle it, but I am kinda worried about that PSU.
It would be helpful to mention its model and specs, as it may not be of adequate quality to run such an expensive video card.
I would also recommend upgrading your RAM to 16GB for futureproofing, although this is not yet imperative.

Edit: Thanks for adding your PSU specs. The parts are compatible, so you can get the RTX2060, or a GTX1060, as RobCrezz said, depending on your needs. However, I would recommend swapping your power supply ASAP because even though it will be able to power your system, it is not a very good quality unit.

Sorry just a tad late, I am wondering the same! Kinda. I am a noob with this stuff. Anyways I bought a pre-built Acer Predator G6-710 Desktop an older one with a GTX970 4GB and a i7-6700K with 16GB of RAM. I actually just bought an RTX2060 TODAY a few hours ago since friends have told me it should 99% work. I am wondering if you can clarify as well! This is whatI have from CPU-Z application.

I bought a ZOTAC Twin Fan 6GB RTX2060 - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MBKKQPW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

EDIT: This is all I could find, I couldn't find weather it is ASUS Z170 or what since it says Intel and I am a complete noob at this. And to clarify about the Prebuild, YES! It should be able to be upgraded from what I found but you may want to make sure as well to help me out a bit more. lol.

Your PC is just fine and compatible with your new GPU, provided you have a decent power supply.
Any unit in the 500w range from a trustable manufacturer should suit this build well.
