Made a previous thread about my computer freezing, then black screening and sometimes either coming back up or computer restarting. Current build is;
Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix B350-F (New)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X (New)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16GB (New)
SSD: Samsung EVO 970 250GB (New)
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 480
PSU: Corsair CX750M (New)
1TB HD.

Went and bought the new PSU about an hour ago, but computer is still having the issues stated above. Every driver is updated and I'm starting to think the CPU is possibly faulty. I've exhausted every other option and test, but still nothing is working. I'm probably going to return the CPU and order another one. Any other ideas before I return the CPU?

Multiple threads on the same issue makes it difficult to keep track of the things you've tried, and which weren't successful. This is the third thread? I found the immediate preceding thread but not the original. For sake of troubleshooting it's best all the information is pooled together in the same thread so those who might be able to help have access to it rather than just a part of the info.

Sounds to me there are a few constants throughout all this so far: CPU, RAM and the drives(?).

I can't remember whether it's the chipset or the actual CPUs, but the original release of Ryzen was very picky about RAM compatibility. I would cross-verify whether the RAM you have is compatible with the motherboard to eliminate RAM compatibility as...

Did you also try updating the bios to latest version?
You need to update the bios on any B350 to support the Ryzen 5 2600x without problems.
You should have bought the B450 since those motherboards support second generation without problems. meanwhile for B350 motherboards you need to update to latest bios to support second generation ryzen processors.

I updated to the most recent bios which is 4207 and still giving me problems.

Then i'll try testing both CPU and motherboard, most probably is the motherboard but just in case you can also test the CPU. If you don't have how to test them (Taking them to a PC Shop/ Repair). Then you can RMA both just in case, and this time get a B450 to avoid compatibility problems.

If the BIOS is updated and for example I didn't have any other issues, will it be a problem with my CPU?

I can't remember whether it's the chipset or the actual CPUs, but the original release of Ryzen was very picky about RAM compatibility. I would cross-verify whether the RAM you have is compatible with the motherboard to eliminate RAM compatibility as a potential cause. You'd need the specific RAM part number. I believe this is the most recent Asus have on it: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/SocketAM4/STRIX_B350-F_GAMING/Raven_Ridge_Memory_QVL_ROG_STRIX_B350-F_GAMING_180209.pdf

You could also try something like Memtest to see if the RAM isn't faulty as well. It doesn't need Windows to run, so it might be worth a check to eliminate this aspect of the RAM being a probable cause as well.

The last aspect to rule out would be the drives you're using. I would suggest, if you feel you want to be thorough, to install only one of them with Windows on it to see how it runs. Idea is to eliminate the issue of it being the boot drive and/or connection there. If on the HDD could also consider swapping the SATA cable to a different port to eliminate this possibility (unlikely, but if you're troubleshooting may as well rule out as many things as possible).

That's all I can think of.
