im planning to upgrade my pc, i got 2 options on processor, should i go with pentium g5400 or ryzen 3 2200g
i'll be using this pc mostly for gaming.

if you have no plans of getting a GPU
if you okey with running all AAA upcoming games in 720p mixed or low settings
it for sure is better than that Dual core you mentioned
you also need to keep in mind that Ryzen 3300G and 3600G will be launched around sept or Oct. which according to the leaks are seems very attractive.

if you plan on getting a GPU ( GTX 1060 or better)


i am using
2200G, gigabyte AB350 gaming3, 2x4Gb 2400MHz green Ram, Corsair VS450.
and have no intentions of getting a GPU so no fancy PSU,
Ram were way too expensive when i build it will up them soon to 3200MHz 2x8gb
250GB samsung 860evo ssd

While I'd usually insert an "it entirely depends on what you want to do with the system" response here..... with the two options presented, I'd struggle to think of a use-case where the G5400 makes much sense.

I'd opt for a 2200G in (almost?) every scenario.

best option to build PC

RAM======Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR4 3000MHz (You can go with 2x8gb too
PSU======Corsair CX450 (grey)
