So my ML240L is a bit loud is here anything I can do to stop this and how do I connect the little controller that came with it thanks.

Per your manual, pages 12-13, you can use the controller in tandem with the PSU and the AIO's fans/cooling block(if you don't have an RGB header on your motherboard) or use the RGB header on your motherboard.
Mind sharing the rest of your specs to your build?
Noise is subjective, mind also stating what you're seeing as noisy? Perhaps a wire is brushing up against the fans blades...?
