Hello,
I am having trouble with my first build. Here is my hardware list
MSI GTX 1080 Gaming
MSI Pro Z270 PC Mate
I7 8700k
ThermalTake TR2 RX 850W
Corsair Vengeance 2x8 3200mhz

The problem I’m having is that my PC turns on but turns off immediately, and the EZ debug light for CPU flashes white.

I have tried removing the CPU and turning the computer on. During this time the PC stays on but the CPU light is a constant white light.

I don’t think it’s my PSU. I tried using a 100% working PSU and the same problem occurs.

The CPU power header is connected to my PSU using an 8 slot cord.

I also tried reseating RAM and using 1 at a time.

I suspect my CPU being bad. I also suspect my front panel.components being wrongly connected to my MOBO. I am 95% sure I have it connected correctly. Does this being incorrect causes the problem?

This is very frustrating since I’ve paid a lot of money and invested a lot of time into my first build. I currently have no idea what to do other than RMAing my CPU.

I haven’t tried the more complicated aspects

Thank you in advance
