Hi there, I was wondering if my PSU can handle a GTX 1060 6GB with an I7 7700k ?
Im going to do a pretty good upgrade for my pc and i know my motherboard supports a GTX 1060 but does it also support an I7 7700k ? If not what would be the best CPU for my PC ? I know 400W
Is not much but i dont want to upgrade my PSU. So this are my current specs

Motherboard : ASUS H110M-K
GPU : RX 560 (Going to upgrade to a GTX 1060)
CPU : Intel Pentium G4400 (I want to upgrade to an I7 7700k
Ram : Corsair 4 GB DDR4-2400
PSU : MWE 400 Coolermaster

Solution
I agree with Supahos. I would upgrade it. I would say 650 watt would be a minimum. 750 probably better, and 850 would give you lots of headroom. When I spec out a power supply, I typically look at the max load it will encounter (CPU, GPU, and rest of the system) and get a power supply that will be at around 50% load when the computer itself is at max load. So if your computer will draw 350 watts, you want a 750 watt power supply. Efficiency and longevity is typically best at around 50% load for a power supply.

I wouldn't want to push that psu, if that was some top notch 400w unit I might day try it. That one will blow up at some point if you run it near max power often. It's not a terrible unit just not one I'd want running over 80% all day long

So the only upgrade i need to do is my PSU to 650W ? My motherboard works with the i7 7700k and GTX 1060 right ?
Also first im gonna upgrade to the GTX 1060 only, and after that im gonna wait a little bit for the i7 7700k, do i still have to upgrade my psu when im only going to upgrade to the gtx 1060 ?

Although i really would say to upgrade psu (stil a little bit torn on this) would a good quality 450watt psu run that system fine, the Seasonic Focus 450watt for instance or the 450watt Bitfenix Whisper M. You really don't need a 650watt psu,if you want more is 550watt more than enough.

Other thing why only upgrade to that cpu? You have 4gb of ram,you would be better of with an i5 7600K and 8gb of ram for playing games. Then there's what does that i7 7700k cost?

A good quality 450W unit would be sufficient for the build, something like the Seasonic Gold 450W.

It's about what yo need and what you can afford, If i could get a Whisper M 450watt for the same money as a mediocre 550watt psu from another brand would i pick the Whisper M.

Still this is just about the psu right now,but he has a system with just 4gb of ram and wanting to get a pretty expensive cpu, maybe he should think about how to manage his budget.

What will be the best cpu for my motherboard (that is worth it) ? Would an i7 7700 be good ?

I was emphasizing the motherboard's chipset limits abit too much, but it has so limited upgradabilty with just two slot, only one cpu header and such make me think it's not worth it.

In the end is it about the price you pay for that cpu,but if new are there much better options. What wil that 7700(K) cost you?

I live in belgium, here it costs 306 euro in dollar that is 352 dollar its for the i7 7700 not K, if it is not worth it what would be the best option ?

Still, looking ..... what is your current ram? 2x4gbg or 1x8gb ,partnr would be nice,

download hwinfo,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
in the main window at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons

Looking towards i5 8400+good motherboard or Ryzen 2600(X) +good motherboard. Something still performing well (equal or just a little but just a little below i7 7700,with gtx 1060 for sure depending on the game) with a decent upgrade path. Like these,
