I posted this on Toms Guide which I think may have been the wrong place. So here it is again.

Is it a good idea to buy the Founders RTX 2060 now for $350 or wait for the other companies to release their versions?
From past experiences does anyone know if the custom cards (not sure if that's the correct term) will be the same price or more?
I just recently built my first pc with a 1070ti and thinking the 2060 might be the way to go. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

My build if it matters is:
8700k
noctura d15
aorus z390 ultra
msi 1070ti gaming
16gb ddr4 3200 cosair ram

Outside of a couple games, I don't think it is worth it. In general it is split between standard 1070 and the 1070 Ti. While sometimes yes does best the 1070 Ti but as for an upgrade for you, I wouldn't, if you feel like things are running slow in games, I would first look to over clock the 1070 Ti.

What resolution do you play at? I'd personally just keep using the 1070Ti.
I have a 1070 and game on an ultrawide 2560 x 1080 and it maxes everything out just fine. I will most likely skip the 2xxx series completely myself and wait for whatever comes next.

TBH if u have a 1070ti no.
your nto gonna get much benefit and would do betetr save for a 2070 or above.

and it depends. What the MSRP is is usually cheaper than the founders, but 3rd party dont usually sell them for that as they want to make profit.

Definitely a NO-NO, 1070Ti is an equivalent and sometimes high performer compared to RTX 2060..
For higher performance than a 1070Ti try to get RTX 2080, otherwise stick with your card and be happy for years to come.
