I decided to buy AMD RYZEN 5 with Vega graphics laptop.(Lenovo)
Is it durable than Intel i5(8th gen).
I decided to buy RYZEN because of its GPU.

By durable I assume you mean more powerful. If you bought a ryzen 5 2400g and we compare it to the i5 8400, the graphics is better in the ryzen but the I5 is a more powerful CPU. Graphics is likely more important, so you made the right choice.
