Need some info about the Cooler Master MasterAir MA410M RGB

My mobo is a x99 Deluxce II and does not support the RGB connectors of this cooler. I can probably still use it by connecting only the main conector to the cpu fan header but whats gonna happen to the RGB? Will it light up and work normally but be unable to control, or will it not light up at all ?

Thanks

Go to the website for that cooler, here

http://www.coolermaster.com/cooling/cpu-air-cooler/masterair-ma410m/

In the black bar near the top click on the "DOWNLOAD" item to get a menu, and choose the "Manual", then tell it to open that with Adobe Reader. The system comes with several cables to make connections, and a manual control box labelled "L" on p. 2. You will use the three cables labelled M, N and O, and an adapter labelled H. See p. 13 and 14 of the manual for how. Cable "O" is used to connect the two fans to the mobo CPU_FAN header. Cable "N"has one arm to get power from a SATA power output from the PSU, and a second to plug into one connector on the cooler. Cable "M" plus adapter "H" connect to another cable from the cooler...

Cable "N"has one arm to get power from a SATA power output from the PSU, and a second to plug into one connector on the cooler. Cable "M" plus adapter "H" connect to another cable from the cooler, and then has a two-headed second cable to plug into a mobo RGB header. This latter you will NOT connect since you do not have such a header on your mobo. IF you had such a thing, this cable just picks up the control signal and allows you to let the mobo do control of the RGB lights.

With no connection to a mobo RGB header, the control box item "L" lets you do the work manually. See the web page about half way down. One button lets you choose the mobo control system if you had one (you don't). The button on the other end with circled arrows allows you to choose which style of lighting effect is used. The next button sets the speed of the lighting effect. The button with the little thermometer icon allows you to use a mode in which the lighting effect is determined by the CPU temperature as detected by a sensor. So this manual system is how you power and control the lighting effects in that cooler system.
