Hi, I'm looking for drive caddies for my HP z400 workstation. I can not find any of the spare part websites for my machine. I tried looking on the internet but I'm not sure on which one to use. I afraid I might purchase the wrong one and it won't fit. If someone could link me to a website (preferably eBay) that would be amazing. Also a caddy for a 2.5 inch SSD also. Thanks

Mechine: HP z400 Workstation 6-DIMM

HDD size: 3.5 inch

SSD: size 2.5 inch

Product: HP Z400 Workstation 6-DIMM

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-Bit)

Solution
Looking from the images, 3.5" HDD doesn't use any drive tray and just slides into 3.5" drive cage,

And to convert 3.5" drive bay to 2.5" drive bay, any standard mounting bracket would do, e.g this one,
ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-5-to-3-5-Bay-SSD-Metal-Hard-Drive-HDD-Mounting-Bracket-Adapter-Tray-USA-SHIP-/253027372826

Also, you can convert your 5.25" drive bays to hold either 1x 3.5" HDD or 3x 2.5" SSDs per drive bay,
5.25" to 1x 3.5", ebay: https://www.ebay.com/p/3-5-to-5-25-Bay-Hard-Disk-Drive-HDD-Mounting-Bracket-Adapter-Metal-Kit/14011381186
5.25" to 3x 2.5", ebay...

OK, thank you. After reading what you said I looked back at my hard drives. I seem I am missing 5 screws that I would need for the 5.25 to fit properly. Luckily I have a lot of screws I removed from old computers that might make up for the missing screws. Thanks again I'm sure to use the links you provided.

I disagree that the hard drive simply slides in. The fit is way too sloppy side to side.
I was able to find this:

Which clearly shows the addition of two side panels with pins.
As of yet, I cannot find them, but I will post when I do.
