Hello Guys!

Soon I will be building a budget gaming Pc.

I already have bought the video card which is an RX 580 8GB.
I don't want to spend too much money so I will be buying only 8 gigs of ram, 2400 MHz dual channel so 2x4.
My question is, what is the cheapest processor that would pair up well with my RX 580? I am looking at Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5 but I don't know if the Ryzen 3 1200 for example would be strong enough.

The difference between 2400 & 3200, on a B450 motherboard, can be about a 15 or so FPS difference so I'd highly recommend getting at least 3000mhz. As for the CPU now is kind of a odd time as AMD is releasing the 3rd Gen CPU's that will include the R3 3300 which is a 6-core/12-thread CPU for around $100.

Personally if I where you I buy the Athlon 200GE, spend more on faster memory & make sure you grab a B450 motherboard that supports overclocking the Athlon. Then wait and save up.
