Hi,
A rather unusual issue has come to annoy me.
My PC for sometime when I switch it on or wake it up from sleep - It does switch on but does not take boot and there is no display.

After attempting 1 or 2 or sometimes 3 times it does start and every thing works normally.

IT DOES NOT SWITCH OFF afterwards no matter how much load I put on it.

Reseated the RAM - Still persisted

so I decided to update BIOS - did that but to no avail

after BIOS update now the PC when started goes into constant loop of restart as soon as it hits BIOS. but sometimes it does start alright.

Once it gets passed the BIOS Boot screen it works A OK

disconnected old fans and power button from Motherboard - Still the same issue exists.

I thought it was PSU but It couldn't be because I put a fair amount of load while gaming and it stays put. Doesn't shutdown while running.

Specs:
B150M-DS3 DDR4 Board
i5 6500 Pro
ZM700-SV Zalman PSU
Inno 3D Ichill GTX 1060 GPU
HyperX Fury 2400 DDR4 RAM (Single 8GB)

Experts please advice.

Solution
The issue what you're describing points towards your PSU not supporting CPU C6/C7 sleep states. To confirm that, go to BIOS and disable C6 and C7 sleep states on your CPU. Afterwards, put your PC to sleep and wake it up to see if issue is solved or not.
