[SOLVED] Asrock z97 anniversary

Hello everyone, I have asrock z97 anniversary motherboard and on AsRock site it says that my motherboard has 6 USB 3.1 (2 front, 4 rear). But in my motherboard's manual it says that motherboard has 3.0. Do you guys know which one should I trust. Is there any significant difference in read/write soeed, and can I connect USB 3.1 external hub to USB 3.0 header?

Trust the motherboard manual; with that being said.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 "IS" USB 3.0.

USB Implementers Forum cannot legally enforce motherboard manufacturers to state USB 3.0 in their marketing materials. USB 3.1 Gen 1 sounds newer than plain old USB 3.0. In my opinion, this is a brutally deceptive and borderline dishonest marketing tactic. Literally every motherboard vendor has followed suit to keep pace.
