Hi guys.
So I updated my bios.
Update went smoothly.

PC specs :
i7-7700k
asus z270i gaming
16gb ram
evga 1080ti
evo 970 m.2 x1
evo 850 ssd x1

The OS is installed on the m.2 drive.
Entered bios to see it read only the ssd installed and the m.2 slot empty.
Fortunately manual boot settings showed the m.2 so I booted it and Windows loads.
Windows is acting very very strange. Small stutters and websites not loading etc.
Restart computer.
Forced me straight back into bios settings (weird). Still no m.2 detected but still able to manually boot from override boot list.
Windows is still acting up.
Restart again to bios.
Manual boot refuses to work now. Clicking the m.2 drive in list brings me back to bios every single time.
Unplugged secondary SSD. Nope.
Pressed F5 to load default optimised settings. Nope.
Clean reinstalled the OS. Nope.
Unplugged power cable and reset CMOS. Nothing.
Also tried to re-update the BIOS but won't let me since it's the latest firmware.
PC was working perfectly fine until before the update.
Reason for the update I was getting really bad fps on AC origins 1080p while running a 1080ti and there were quite a few recommending a BIOS update to fix it which I am now really regretting.
Should've gave up on playing the game and not end up with a bricked PC.
So would anyone know how to fix this?

Solution
there is also possibility that your hardware was remapped, that is something that you may not notice, but it can confuse your drivers
go to safe mode, uninstall every driver which is not "microsoft" such as chipset/gpu/network/sound card/etc...
than go back to win, some random drivers should install, reboot if necesary, then install new drivers
