Hi guys,

First of all thank you so much all for the useful information regarding my question,
I have my own pc without gpu.

Now I want to buy a perfect gpu for gaming only,
PC specs :-
i3 7100 cpu
Gigabyte B250M-DS3H Mobo
Corsair 8gb ddr4 2400mhz RAM
Corsair 100r silent cabinet
Corsair VS550 watt PSU
LG full hd monitor

Now I want to play all the latest games and my favourite games like WWE 2k18, GTA V, WITCHER 3 at very high settings in 1080p resolution (1920*1080),

So pls tell me which one is better GTX 1060 or GTX 1070 all varients 3,6,8gb
If I go with GTX 1070 will it run smoothly with my cpu and psu, or GTX 1060 is the better one.

Also guys used ones are very cheaper than new so is there any problem to buy a used one, then pls tell me.

Thank you

Solution
gtx 1070 will bottleneck hard so i would recommend a gtx 1060 6gb. used will be cheaper but still new ones are not very expensive and provide you with warranty. for a 1070 you will need a better cpu but it isnt that much more for a 2nd hand 1070 over a new 1060.

1070 has better performance than 1060, but i will recommend you to go 1060 because your CPU will bottleneck with 1070. The best thing i can recommend here is to I5 CPU and 1060, if you really want to enjoy Good gaming at 1080 Resolution. If you can also upgrade your RAM to 16 gig

You can look at ratings for any graphics card on the PassMark web site here: https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html.

The 1060 6GB has a PassMark rating of 9057.
The 1070 6GB has a PassMark rating of 11,283.

The higher the rating the better. So, if all else was equal, the 1070/6GB is capable of better performance than the 1060/6GB. Obviously, the actual difference in any particular game depends upon how the game is designed and how it uses the rest of your system, but a 1070 will always be at least as fast as a 1060 and should be faster in some circumstances.

If you're trying to save money, the 1060 is probably good enough for a lot of 1080p gaming. A used 1070 would be even better.

Ehh. OP has a 1080p/60Hz monitor. For most titles, the 1060-6 is fine, maxing out ultra settings. There's relatively few requiring the graphics power of a 1070 or higher. So for most games, the bigger cards are wasted money as all they'll do is have lower gpu usage to get the same settings results on screen.

2 moves are needed for those games. An i7 and decent gpu. You aren't going to play much of Witcher 3 on an i3, it's cpu brutal high thread count, as is GTA V.
