Hi all, I have seen that there are many questions on these forums about the X4 860k cpu, but they are all two or three years old.
I am after some up to date advice on what is the best GPU to use alongside my CPU, currently I am using a GTX 760 OC 2gb.
I know you will question why I do not upgrade CPU too, but funds will not allow it just now. That will be for a later date.

What kind of budget were you considering and what resolution do you run games at? What are the complete system specs?

The X4 860k will limit performance in many games, but in ones that are less demanding on the CPU you might see performance gains from a faster card. Maybe something like a Radeon RX 570 or 580 could be a decent enough upgrade without spending too much on performance that will be limited anyway. I kind of think that a CPU/RAM/Motherboard upgrade might show more performance gains in many titles, but would likely cost more as well.

Hi Supahos, Thanks for your reply, I want to upgrade my gpu to at least 4gb and want to know what would be the best upgrade match
for my cpu. I have no real issues with my current setup but I now have a couple of games that need 3 or 4gb in recommended specs.
