Hey everyone, got myself into a really bad situation with my PC.
Just bought a new SSD to use alongside my old hard drive. I installed it into my PC relatively easily and thought it would work well. When I turned my PC on however it did not recognise that there was a new drive in the computer so I could not access it through the drive management page. I then tried to reboot in bios with the SSD booting but nothing. I even copied my hard drive onto the SSD using software which worked for a short while before the application began stating that their was no second drive.
I then went inside and tried to plug the SATA cables from the motherboard in order to try different slpts however just as I took out the hard drive SATA cable and replace it, I got the ‘no bootable device found’ error message. I then tried bios again and changed the boot to the hard drive and that didn’t work.
Snowballed myself into a really bad situation where now the pc won’t even start. Do I need a professional or is there any sort of fix, even just to get my hard drive back.
Thanks,
Adam
