It’s been a year since I’ve built my rig. I figured I would have a while until I ran into a serious problem.
Lately my pc has been acting slow towards games (mostly stuttering) but it wasn’t game changing so I ignored it. Today, I was playing Rainbow Six Siege before I went to work. I played a match and nothing was wrong, solid fps no stuttering. 5 hours later, I get home to jump on and I’m averaging 30 fps on ultra. I immediately switch my graphics settings to low, I still got 30 fps. I figured it was the game so I tried another game and it continued. I looked to see my performance from my task manger and saw nothing out of the ordinary. Then I downloaded “speccy” to see my actual temps, the first thing that popped up was my CPU’s temperature rising from 120 to 130, I immediately turned off my PC. Here I am now, wondering what to do next.
