Hello,i ve been wanting to buy a second stick of 8 gb ddr4 memory, currently having 1 hyperx predator 3000mhz stick running at 2400 mhz because of the ryzen 3 1200 cpu supporting up to 2666mhz.i ve noticed that hyperx also have the hyperx fury brand that has a lower voltage and different timings, dunno what those mean.question is,am i able to mix those 2 sticks and change the voltage on them or something?i dont need higher mhz because the cpu is limitting the maximum amount anyway.thanks in advance

No, you cannot mix voltage and timing between sticks; you will have to buy a stick that can run at the identical settings that your current stick is running at. Memory sticks are meant to be sold in sets, so there is no guarantee that even a perfect match will work.

If you are lucky you may be able to get a matching stick to work, but only some Kingston works with various older Ryzen processors so check the particular matching model that you find to see if it is on the supported list.
